Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Who we are
As a parent of a child who attend Long Wittenham CE Primary School you are automatically a member of the Long Wittenham Parent-Teacher Association (LWPTA), as are all teaching and non-teaching staff and the school governors. You can be as involved as you would like to be. Come along and support events, help at events and/or come along to meetings to help plan and prepare for our events.
What we do
The LWPTA organises fundraising events throughout the school year in order to raise funds for specific projects and/or to help subsidise school events such as a trip to the Panto! The aim of our fundraising is to enhance the education offered to children attending our school. We are currently fundraising to replace certain items of the school playground. To find out more, please speak to any committee member or come along to the next meeting.
How often do we meet?
The committee meets at least once a term. In additional sub-teams will meet to plan events as required.
How do I join?
Please email the chair of the PTA at pta@long-wittenham.oxon.sch.uk, or come along to the next meeting and let us know how you would like to help! Details of PTA meetings will be shared through parent communications.
